Here in Encino, we have created a women's sober living in the spirit of empowerment through an active and full sober life. Our schedule includes twelve-step meetings, which are held on Thursday evenings and are open to family and friends. Dinner is at 6 pm, meeting starts at 7 pm. House round circle meetings are held weekly to discuss the path of the group as well as the individual and cross talk is permitted as we help each other navigate the road of healthy recovery, guiding our members through education, work, meetings and service. Testing is conducted regularly to insure the accountability of each member of the household and to preserve the sanctity and safety of the group. As the house manager, Michele Garcia seeks to inspire and motivate using her many resources, all of the years she has working in the field of recovery as well as her knowledge base from the masters program of spiritual psychology at the University of Santa Monica.
